Pave Talent is partnering with a leading minerals transformation company to identify their first Process Engineer for North American operations. Our client is establishing their technical foundation with a focus on growth and operational excellence.

- Small but highly automated facilities (14 people in Maine, 8 in SC)

Key Responsibilities ??
- Lead process optimization across two manufacturing facilities
- Manage significant CAPEX projects ($1M-$10M+ range)
- Work hands-on with chemical reactors, dewatering equipment, and milling systems
- Drive plant debottlenecking initiatives to increase capacity
- Conduct process-related laboratory experiments and plant trials
- Support safety protocols and documentation
- Interface with operations teams for process improvement
- Utilize Rockwell PLC systems for automation and control
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
- 1-3+ years process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with chemical reactors, vessels, or similar process equipment
- Strong project management capabilities
- Proven ability to work independently and coordinate resources
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills for technical writing and presentations
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Skowhegan, Maine (1329 Waterville Road)
- Monthly travel to Bennettsville, SC facility
- Portland-based candidates considered (1.5-hour commute)
- Standard business hours (8 AM - 4/5 PM)
- 100% on-site role
