    Certification Details
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
    Job Details
  • 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee!
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • Float required to all MS, MS/Tele units within the hospital
  • Ratio / Census: 1:5-6
  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
  • Floating: Required; possible to float to sister campus (Piedmont Augusta Summerville) which is approximately 3 miles down the road.
  • Call Requirements: None
  • HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
    Job Requirements
  • Certifications Required: BLS
  • State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
  • Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
  • Background Check required within 30 days of start
  • References: 2 clinical references needed to meet Aya’s baseline.
    Schedule Information
  • Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
    Unit Specific Information
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS, MS Tele diagnoses.

  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
