Recruiting Intern
Vaco is seeking a motivated undergraduate student in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources for a full-time, paid summer internship. The
Recruiting Intern will be primarily responsible for sourcing qualified candidates based on job requisitions. We are looking for outgoing, energetic self-starter personalities, as they have proven to be the most successful in our environment.
Responsibilities - Recruitment and engagement of candidates in conjunction with active job requisitions
- Assist in the recruitment and engagement of candidates for a variety of job requisitions.
- Utilize aggressive sourcing techniques to identify candidates who meet specific skills, compliance, and geographic requirements.
- Analyze job descriptions and qualifications to define applicant requirements.
- Leverage job boards, referral networks, and creative sourcing strategies to attract and engage potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and communications with team members.
- Manage a high volume of time-sensitive requisitions, ensuring efficient sourcing and recruitment processes.
- Participate in full-cycle recruitment activities, including candidate evaluation, qualification, and interview scheduling.
Requirements - Working toward a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources is required.
- The candidate must have an excellent ability to source qualified candidates, be engaging and confident over the phone and via email communication.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office suite (MS Word and Outlook are used daily).
- Ability to pick up technology packages including Applicant Tracking System, Boolean searches on job boards, LinkedIn, as well as "outside of the box" recruiting strategies and sources.
- A strong ability to multitask and work on multiple positions at once is a vital part of this role as well as being organized and flexible.
