Our client, a credit union near Herndon, VA, is hiring for a collections manager. Working closely with the executive team, this hire will be tracking all delinquent accounts and overseeing the entire debt collection and resolution process to ensure the bank's financial health. You will be directly supervising two full-time and one part-time staff members. This role is onsite for the first 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning to 3 days in office afterwards and offers great benefits.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in a role involving debt collections, with 1+ years in a managerial position
• Experience collecting on large personal loans
• Ability to track delinquent accounts and provide solutions for individual financial situations
• Ability to comply with credit union guidelines and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act
• Excellent organizational, customer service and conflict resolution skills

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in a bank setting
• Experience with Jack Henry Symitar and/or Co-Op Springboard software
• Familiarity with CECL methodologies
