Job Title: Project Manager - Data Center Commissioning
Job Level: II, III, IV, V
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems within data center environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing the commissioning (Cx) process, ensuring all systems are tested and operational according to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems at various levels (II, III, IV, V) within data center projects.
  • Oversee the commissioning of electrical systems, including generators, MV switchgear, ATS, PDU, PDS, RPPs, UPS, busways, and STS.
  • Supervise the commissioning of mechanical systems, such as chillers, CRAHs, CRACs, various pumps, AHUs, leak detection systems, BARD units, and HUM.
  • Ensure proper commissioning of various control systems, including BMS, EPMS, and chiller managers.
  • Develop and execute commissioning plans, ensuring all project milestones are met within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Provide project forecasting and manage Cx schedules to align with overall project timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any commissioning-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation, including test plans, reports, and project records.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commissioning data center electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Experience managing commissioning schedules, vendor coordination, and project forecasting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CxA, or equivalent) are a plus.
