The Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team in their Chicago-area facility (Itasca, IL). The ideal candidate will bring strong SolidWorks expertise and machine building experience to drive innovation in manufacturing processes and product development.

? Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new product development initiatives with a focus on machine building and design optimization
- Utilize SolidWorks for comprehensive 2D & 3D design work
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for various materials and equipment
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing
- Manage projects from concept through implementation, including equipment selection and process automation
- Conduct feasibility studies and implement process improvements
- Provide hands-on support for equipment setup and optimization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (primary CAD platform used)
- Demonstrated experience in machine building and equipment optimization
- Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and project management capabilities
