The Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team in their Chicago-area facility (Itasca, IL). The ideal candidate will bring strong SolidWorks expertise and machine building experience to drive innovation in manufacturing processes and product development.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Lead new product development initiatives with a focus on machine building and design optimization
• Utilize SolidWorks for comprehensive 2D & 3D design work
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for various materials and equipment
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing
• Manage projects from concept through implementation, including equipment selection and process automation
• Conduct feasibility studies and implement process improvements
• Provide hands-on support for equipment setup and optimization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (primary CAD platform used)
• Demonstrated experience in machine building and equipment optimization
• Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and project management capabilities
