LHH is assisting a financial services client searching for a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a pivotal role in providing financial insights and support for one of their business units. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and various stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and ensure the financial health and business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and profitability for the business unit.
• Coordinate and consolidate annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs.
• Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders to aid in strategic planning and decision making.
• Analyze expense structures and identify opportunities for expense optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Monitor market trends to provide insights that enhance business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA and/or a CPA / CFA certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strong preference for the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial software including SAP, Oracle, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
