About the job Family Nurse Practitioner
What You'll Do:
Lead Patient Care: Conduct patient exams, gather medical histories, and assess physical conditions to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Collaborate with Physicians: Work with physicians to prescribe therapy or medications, and coordinate care for comprehensive treatment plans.
Drive Diagnostic Efforts: Administer and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, EKGs, lab work) to uncover the root of patient issues.
Provide Holistic Care: Advise patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventive care.
Perform Procedures: Provide essential treatments including injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations to help patients return to their daily activities.
Supervise and Coordinate: Lead technicians and assistants to ensure smooth operations and optimal patient care delivery.
What You'll Bring:
2-5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics (preferred, but not mandatory).
Valid Michigan PA or NP licensure (required).
Masters degree in a relevant field.
Strong patient care knowledge, eagerness to learn, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Experience in fast-paced environments with the ability to adapt quickly while keeping patient outcomes at the forefront.
