A client in the Huntsville area is looking to add a Network Engineer to their team. This person will be working on a small team responsible for network monitoring, management, and some escalated troubleshooting support. This is a hybrid onsite role so the candidate must be local to the Huntsville area and willing to work onsite a minimum of 2 days/week. This client is actively implementing Palo Alto firewalls and building out their Palo Alto environment and this candidate will be heavily involved in that project.

Experience implementing Palo Alto firewalls
Familiarity with support technologies such as VMware, Windows AD, Group Policy configuration
Experience with Aruba hardware
Any Azure experience
Any Cyber Security experience
Packet sniffers or packet tracing experience
Network monitoring experience
Experience with IEEE 802.1X port-based network access control standards
Familiarity with security standards such as NIST, DFARS, CMMC, FedRAMP
3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
In Depth experience with Palo Alto including upgrades, policies, firewalls, and general Palo Alto firewall administration
Experience using a VPN tool to support remote users
Experienced with network switch installation and deployments / stacking / configuration / management
Bachelors degree in IT
Eligible for US Security Clearance
Strong communication and professionalism
Open to traveling once or twice a year to their secondary offices
