Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Design high-speed PCBs, ensuring proper routing, power plane design, creepages, clearances, and length matching.
  • Work on interfaces like SATA, DDR4/DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, and PMIC.
  • Apply medical device industry standards and best practices to PCB designs.
  • Use Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX2.8 for PCB design and development.
  • Manage PCB eCAD libraries using EDM Library.
  • Define and maintain design constraints using the Constraints Editor System to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Perform panelization using Fablink and manage design variants through Variant Manager.
  • Develop and review detailed PCB drawings using the Drawing Editor.
  • Ensure DFM/DFA compliance for ease of manufacturing and assembly.
  • Perform design validation using Valor Analysis tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PCB design for medical devices or similar regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX2.8.
  • Solid understanding of high-speed design principles and standards.
  • Knowledge of medical device design standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 60601) is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in high-speed interfaces such as DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, and USB.
  • Advanced knowledge of DFM/DFA processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
