An industry leading aerospace manufacturing organization is currently looking to add a Production Supervisor to their growing team. This is a plant based manufacturing position and would be based at their Cleveland Heights area manufacturing location.

Responsibilities :

• Lead, monitor, direct, and control all available resources (work force, machines, etc.) to ensure full utilization so that needs, goals, and objectives of the business are met.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of hourly employees assigned to achieve product at the lowest possible cost.
• Coordinate with all service functions (production control, maintenance, engineering, quality, etc.) to ensure the support required by the manufacturing effort.
• Effectively communicate company and department goals, achievements, problems, solutions, practices, changes, and policies. Encourage positive communication. Enforce all company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Conduct all operations in a clean and safe environment. Schedule appropriate cleaning to maintain high level of quality culture. Enforce all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
• 5+ years of supervisory or lead level experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment preferred
• Strong math skills and a solid understanding of statistical data reporting.
• Ability to prioritize workload
