The Learning and Development Consultant is a key contributor to enhancing employee development and organizational growth through the design, development, and delivery of impactful learning programs. This role focuses on identifying learning needs, implementing effective learning strategies, and continuously improving learning initiatives to ensure they align with business objectives. The consultant collaborates closely with HR business partners, subject matter experts, and organizational leaders to develop a skilled, knowledgeable, and high-performing workforce.

This position leverages learning technologies, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools, and e-learning platforms, to design, deliver, and track the success of learning initiatives.

Some of the Responsibilities of the Learning and Development Consultant include:

• Learning Strategy Execution : Design, develop, deliver, and maintain learning programs that align with business unit/segment goals and manage vendor relationships.
• Subject Matter Expertise : Serve as a recognized expert in learning and development for assigned business units, applying advanced knowledge of adult learning methodologies and assessment tools.
• Curriculum Development : Manage curriculum and program creation, including planning, audience identification, needs analysis, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners to ensure alignment on learning objectives, share best practices, and stay updated on industry trends.
• Training Delivery : Facilitate engaging learning sessions through various methods, including classroom, virtual, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.
• Needs Assessment : Conduct assessments to identify performance gaps and skill development opportunities, designing tailored solutions to address them.
• Program Management : Oversee the entire lifecycle of learning programs, including objective creation, logistics coordination, resource management, and effectiveness evaluation.
• Program Evaluation : Measure the success of learning initiatives through assessments, stakeholder feedback, and data analysis, continuously improving programs to meet organizational goals.
• Technology Utilization : Leverage LMS and other e-learning platforms to design, deliver, manage, and track learning programs and learner progress.
• Compliance and Reporting : Ensure all learning programs comply with policies and regulations while preparing reports on program outcomes and progress.
• Professional Development : Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.

Some of the Responsibilities/Qualifications of the Learning and Development Consultant include:

• Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in Organizational Learning and Development or a related technical field.
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Leadership : May manage up to two employees, overseeing workload distribution, hiring, succession planning, and performance management.
