Premium Guard Inc is excited to announce that we’re hiring a Human Resources Business Partner for our new location opening in Weirton, West Virginia .


The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for all human resources functions within the site including all HR activities for the launch of the new site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Facilitates new hire onboarding including background checks and completing employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee engagement programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave of absence, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Partners with site leaders in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Partners with local staffing partners to ensure staffing needs are fulfilled.
  • Provide HR dashboard metrics and monitors trends in key performance indicators
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • At least five years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
