Client Service Associate

Our client is a fast-growing registered independent advisory firm (RIA) dedicated to helping wealthy families plan and manage all aspects of their finances and investments. They are seeking an experienced administrative and client service professional to help with day-to-day client requests and trading for the firm. This position is responsible for the creating a compelling client experience and providing a high level of service.


The practice is growing rapidly, so candidates will need to be highly organized, possess strong communication skills and have a self-starter attitude. In addition to these characteristics, candidates must be comfortable working in an often fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with sophisticated corporate executives.


The practice exists to simplify the complexities of a wealthy family’s financial situation. The firm's objective is to provide peace of mind by mitigating or eliminating the financial challenges that can distract families from enjoying what matters most to them.


Primary Responsibilities

· Assist with client-related tasks and projects which will include:

o Providing timely and effective support related to client inquiries including but not limited to: cash transfers, 529 and Qualified Charitable Distributions

o Client meeting scheduling, preparation, and workflow

· Working closely with our Chief Investment Officer to enter all daily trading for the firm including:

o New money deposits

o Quarterly Rebalances

o Rebalances due to money movement

o Tax-loss selling


Qualifications

· Ideal Experience: Five+ years of administrative experience with a financial services firm, preferably an RIA, and experience with executing trades

· Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

Competencies

· Highly motivated, results-driven self-starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high-level of client service

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and in some cases, explain them to clients

· Proficient in technology, i.e., Tamarac, MS office tools (Excel in particular), CRM (Redtail)

· Detail-oriented and a stickler for accuracy, timeliness, and organization


Company Benefits

· Compensation: 70-75k depending on experience
