The Position:
This position oversees and participates in structural drawings from conception to final design. As an experienced Structural Engineer, the person in this position will be expected to coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors; manage the budget for each project; seek opportunities for new clientele; provide leadership within each project as well as the firm; mentor others; be part of our Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes; and more.
Responsibilities:
- Structural Calculations
- Overall Drawing Production including Quality Control
- Shop Drawing Review
- Coordination with Contractors & Design Teams
- Site Visits & Inspections
- Overseeing a Project from Conception to Completion with minimal Oversight
Skills/Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- P.E. License Required
- 4+ Years of Structural Engineering Experience
- Technical Knowledge of: International Building Code, Relevant Design Standards & Construction Means and Methods
- Effective Communication with clients, consultants, contractors, principals, and team members
