Job Description:

The Senior Engineer oversees maintenance operations for the building, ensuring the proper function of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility equipment. This role involves managing repairs, preventive maintenance, and leading a team to support the building's operational needs. The Senior Engineer may also fill in for the Project Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support maintenance staff.
• Implement preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
• Respond to and manage maintenance work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair various building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on equipment.
• Manage parts, materials, and inventory.
• Develop and deliver training for team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of engineering experience, preferably in an industrial/commercial setting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for facility systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.

Additional Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Electrical license preferred.
• Universal Refrigerant License desired.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
