HR Generalist
Hybrid / Onsite - Westborough, MA
3-6mth initial contract
We are looking for a HR Generalist to be a key member of the HR Team, leading projects, assisting HR team members, and acting as a resource for all employees. This role is responsible for Learning & Development, HRIS system data integrity and the seamless support of the HR Department’s operations including administration of HR processes, talent acquisition support, benefits support, and payroll back-up.
Looking to speak with individuals who are comfortable handling multiple assignments and can professionally navigate the multi-faceted requirements of a fast-paced, high achieving Human Resources Department.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as Learning & Development (L&D) resource, partnering with our clients L&D Team to develop programs for career pathing, leadership development, succession planning etc.
- Act as main point of contact for SuccessFactors HRIS, ensure data integrity, complete updates and develop reporting expertise.
- Support Talent Acquisition by scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and managing the pre-employment background check process.
- Prepare new hire packages and create employee files ensuring files are properly maintained.
- Partner with other members of the HR team to assist the needs related to payroll and benefit administration.
- Perform HR audits to include audit of data across systems ensuring data is accurate and up to date; I-9 audits, employee file audits.
- Other duties as required to support the HR team.
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Foundational HR/Employment law knowledge a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle interruption and adjust priorities, and to maintain confidentiality of all HR matters.
- Ability to interact and interface with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of customer service.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- 2-5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred (SuccessFactors a plus).
- HR Certification PHR or SHRM-CP helpful.
- Extensive knowledge of and proficiency in MS Office.
