Job Description

Our esteemed client in Gloucester County, New Jersey is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of their organization. The ideal candidate will bring over 10+ years of operational leadership experience and will play a critical role in ensuring efficiency, implementing process improvements, and optimizing overall organizational performance. The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, budgeting, strategic planning, and ensuring alignment with our company’s goals.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and policies to improve overall performance and achieve business goals.
  • Lead a team of department managers and staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on business planning, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth.
  • Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure recruitment, retention, and training align with operational needs.
  • Implement best practices in process improvement, operational procedures, and technology integration.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding operational progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation across the organization.


Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other operational software.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement certification is a plus.
