The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for overseeing and managing the backend transactional HR operations, ensure compliance with USA HR regulations, and provide payroll and operational support for APC’s workforce while aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to help develop, implement, support, and review all Human Resource Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
• Manage backend transactional HR operations, including payroll, employee records, and benefits administration.
• Prepare and present HR compliance reports for leadership.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance issues with composure and confidentiality.
• Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Generate HR analytics reports to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.
• Generate commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainly.
• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of HR experience including payroll management is required.
• Must have previous HR leader position experience.
• In-depth knowledge of USA HR regulations and labor laws.
• Clear understanding of HR functions, such as talent acquisition, development, total rewards, policy and procedures, and employee relations is required.
• Experience working with HR ERP, e.g. Oracle/SAP, is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is required
• Professional certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred.
