Electrical Project Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Job Overview:
A leading electrical contracting company is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial new construction projects, specifically big box retail . This role requires a skilled and organized professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage 3-8 projects at a time, depending on size, ranging from $1M - $12M .
- Ensure project execution from pre-construction to completion , coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Work on-site as needed but primarily from the Alpharetta office five days a week .
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Handle RFIs, change orders, and contract negotiations to ensure smooth project workflow.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Track and report project performance, including financials, risk management, and cost control .
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial new construction , specifically big box retail projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and project management best practices.
- Prior field experience preferred , but candidates with strong office-based project management experience will also be considered.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with all project stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 (Depending on Experience)
