Java Developer
Duration: 4-6 months (possible extension/conversion)
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite – 3 days per week)

Role Overview:
Seeking a skilled Java Developer to build and support banking applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Core Java and functional programming .
- Implement concurrent and parallel programming techniques, ensuring thread safety and synchronization.
- Design asynchronous, event-driven microservices with reactive programming.
- Containerize applications and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like LightSpeed, Harness, Tecton, and OpenShift .
- Integrate NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (Oracle) for high-performance applications.
- Implement secure coding practices , including SSL/TLS, OAuth, and JWT authentication .
- Optimize ORM performance with Hibernate caching, batch processing, and fetch strategies .
- Work with API Gateways, distributed tracing , and enterprise integrations.
- Develop high-availability, low-latency systems using ExecutorService, ForkJoinPool, and thread-safe collections .
- Apply Spring AOP for cross-cutting concerns like logging and transaction management.
- Understand distributed computing, security in microservices, and inter-service communication .
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in monitoring, logging , and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka , and Git/BitBucket .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Unix shell scripting and ElasticSearch experience.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and AI/ML/LLM technologies .
- Experience in building scalable, high-performance applications .
