Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Data and Application Senior Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring the quality, reliability, and integrity of their AI application platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering robust testing solutions and collaborating across technical teams to meet critical business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for end-to-end validation of data sources, APIs, pipelines, user interfaces, and backend services.
• Automate testing workflows for data pipelines using tools like Databricks.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify test scenarios and resolve issues.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy across workflows, ETL/ELT processes, and APIs.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployments.
• Test backend services, SQL workflows, and ensure data consistency.
• Perform web application and GUI testing to meet platform requirements.
• Establish testing best practices and drive improvements in quality assurance.
• Monitor testing metrics, create reports, and analyze defects for process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in quality assurance, focusing on data and application testing, including data pipeline and API validation.
• Experience designing test strategies for data governance and compliance testing
• Hands-on experience with tools like Databricks, Selenium, Postman, and data quality management frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for test automation and data validation.
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Understanding of SCAS, SAST, DAST/WAS, and secure SDLC frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
