Position Summary:
National Account Manager (NAM) is the key contact for National/Chain account calls for Eternal Water in the region. He/she is responsible for managing all existing National/Regional chain accounts for Eternal in the large format and small format channels of business, as well as, targeting and opening new National/Regional chain accounts for each channel. This position offers a chance to drive the growth and success of Eternal Water both Nationally and Regionally.
Position Responsibilities:
The NAM is responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities of existing chain retail partners and targeting new chain retail partners in large and small format channels.
• Creating and maintaining good business relationships with Retail Buyers.
• Targeting and securing new National/Regional chain business.
• Presenting and planning sales promotional calendars.
• Learning and utilizing data-based information to maximize sales opportunities and relationships
• Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs
• Facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
• Creating and finding partnership opportunities with retail partners.
• Collaborating with Sales Directors / Region Sales Managers to maximize execution at key accounts in the region.
• Partnering with DSD network to maximize communication and retail execution
• Attend monthly or quarterly business reviews with DSD partners
• Reporting and effectively managing all sales expenses and budgets for the region.
• Using the ShelvSpace App to record store visits, pricing surveys, accomplishments, and opportunities
Position Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant sales experience in the Beverage Business
• Experience calling on Grocery Retailers, Drug Retailers, Wholesalers, Distributors and Cooperatives
• Successful track record of delivering exceptional sales results
• National/Regional chain experience is preferred
• In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics, utilizing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen or Spins)
• Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong command of business mathematics with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to think strategically, and drive execution against goals.
• Productive working in a collaborative, team environment with minimal oversight
• Ability to travel overnight and work alternative days/hours as needed, and with proper notification.
