Job Description

Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Inside Sales Manager is required to join a growing distributor of engineering fluid power products.


Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for leading an internal sales team & warehouse operations to ensure smooth and consistent performance with a medium sized team working with flow control related products such as valves, actuators, regulators, filters, hydraulics, pneumatics and related mechanical engineering products


The Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Inside Sales Manager will have a background working with and leading sales teams selling engineering products into the industrial markets and be based near Antioch, IL.

Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Inside Sales Manager Role

  • Responsible for leading the internal sales team to ensure smooth operations and consistent performance across the board for flow control related products such as valves, actuators, regulators, filters, hydraulics, pneumatics and related mechanical engineering products. Full product Training Provided.
  • Support both inside and outside sales engineer with strategies to market and technical knowledge
  • Actively partner with other managers within the business to provide and implement successful strategy
  • Implement strategy that is seasonal to maintain and improve motivation throughout the sales team and branch.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Commutable to the office daily near Antioch, IL.



Sales Manager / Branch Manager / Inside Sales Manager Requirements

  • Experience as an Internal Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Profit Centre manager / Inside Sales Manager / Sales Operations Manager / General Manager or similar within an engineering environment.
  • Will have a proven background implementing operational strategy within a sales team to improve efficiency, quality and productivity.
  • Experience of people management within sales operations and is passionate about fostering growth and success within a collaborative environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capability to inspire and drive a team, with an innovative mind to take part in office-based events.
  • Knowledge and experience with technical sales – Full product training is provided
  • A business degree or engineering degree would be helpful
  • Must be commutable to the office daily near Antioch, IL.
