Job Description

Outside sales position in the corrugated industry focusing on new business acquisition and maximizing opportunities with existing accounts.

Client Details

Privately-owned leader in custom packaging with seven facilities across Ohio and New York. Provider of high-quality corrugated products, foam packaging, consumer point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, packaging supplies, order assembly, fulfillment services, and inventory management solutions.

Description

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new customers in need of corrugated packaging solutions.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide tailored packaging solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand the features, benefits, and applications of corrugated packaging to effectively advise clients.
  • Quoting & Pricing: Prepare sales quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts in collaboration with the internal team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, generate reports, and provide forecasts to management.

Profile

  • 3+ years proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in corrugated packaging, paper products, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of corrugated packaging manufacturing and customization options.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Located within 1-2 hours of Rochester, NY area.
