School Psychologist Job Qualifications:

Master's degree in School Psychology.
Active Georgia Psych license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
Experience providing virtual therapy services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fast/reliable computer & internet speed.

School Psychologist Position Overview:

Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Carry out psychological and educational evaluations to determine students' learning, behavioral, and emotional requirements. Formulate individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommend targeted interventions.

Provide Therapeutic Support: Deliver individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges. Aid students in developing coping mechanisms and enhancing their overall well-being.

Collaborate with School Community: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to foster a supportive and conducive educational environment. Offer expert advice on classroom management, behavioral strategies, and methods to boost student engagement and learning.

Design and Implement Programs: Develop initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health, preventing bullying, and tackling issues like substance abuse. Lead workshops and training sessions for staff, students, and parents, covering a wide range of psychological and educational topics.

Pay & Benefits:

1099 Position
Guaranteed Weekly Hours
Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours ($40-47/hr depending on district budget/candidate experience)

Interview Process:

10 - 15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter.
20 - 30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District.
