* 13-Week Contract
* *Weekends only - every weekend*
* Can do 2x8s on 11p-7a for *OR* 2x16

*Pay Details: *

$45/hour blended rate

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their healthcare journey, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards.

*Duties*
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
* Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
* Assist in discharge planning by educating patients and families on post-care instructions.
* Perform triage duties to assess patient needs and prioritize care effectively.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
* Conduct routine assessments, including vital signs, and report any changes in patient condition.
* Support infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Assist with IV insertion and other procedures as required.
* Stay informed about medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare setting.

*Skills*
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
* Proficiency in medical office procedures and practices.
* Knowledge of discharge planning processes.
* Experience with medication administration protocols.
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient care.
* Ability to perform IV insertion competently.
* Strong triage skills for effective patient assessment.
* Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
* Understanding of infection control practices to maintain a safe environment.
* Knowledge of dermal fillers is a plus, though not required.
* Capability to dialyze patients if applicable within the scope of practice.
