CNC Setup Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components, ensuring quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming and troubleshooting, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and quality of parts produced.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
Job Requirements
CNC Setup Machinist Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience as a machinist doing setup
- Experience on both lathes and mills
- Mechanically Inclined
- Ability to lift 50lbs
