Job Description: The Compensation Manager will take the lead in designing and managing compensation programs that are competitive and reflective of the organization's strategic objectives. This role will require close collaboration across departments to ensure the company's offerings attract, retain, and reward top talent. The manager will provide expertise and leadership in compensation strategy, ensuring compliance with standards and using data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the compensation strategy, focusing on base salary and incentive-based pay (e.g., bonuses and commissions).
- Regularly assess market trends to ensure the company remains competitive in its compensation offerings.
- Lead the annual merit and compensation review processes, aligning them with organizational goals and ensuring fairness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant compensation laws and regulations.
- Advise business leaders on the total compensation package and its impact on employee retention and motivation.
- Collaborate with senior management, HR, and other departments to align compensation initiatives with business objectives.
- Support the decision-making process for executive compensation, especially during recruitment and offer stages.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs, using analytics and feedback to drive improvements.
- Oversee Payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly, monthly, and bonus payments.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5-7 years of experience in compensation and total rewards management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing competitive compensation programs.
- Certification in Compensation (e.g., CCP) is preferred; additional certifications like SHRM-CP, SPHR, or CEBS are a plus.
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, incentive pay, and benefits offerings.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency with HR technology and data analytics tools.
