Job Summary
The Licensed Psychologist ensures that behavioral and psychological assessments are integrated into a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary report and prescriptive plan. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater self-sufficiency and realizing their fullest potential. The psychologist applies specialized psychological methods to deliver high-quality services, supporting the mission and vision of the organization.
Essential Job Functions
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Perform psychological and behavioral evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Contribute to diagnosis, program planning, and consultation.
- Expert Consultation
- Serve as a psychology consultant for comprehensive service delivery to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Team Participation
- Collaborate as a member of the multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation team.
- Training & Support
- Provide teaching and consultation to agency personnel involved in developing and delivering services to clients.
- Program Development & Evaluation
- Assist in creating new programs and evaluating existing programs that support developmental disabilities services within the organization and community.
- Additional Duties
- Support related tasks, such as conservatorship petitions, competency evaluations, and diversion plans.

QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Required:
- Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology.
- Minimum of two years of experience with programs or services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Skills & Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of psychological principles, methods, techniques, and materials in the context of developmental disabilities.
- Skilled in administering, interpreting, and utilizing psychological and behavioral assessments.
- Proficiency in preparing clear, concise, and professional reports, both verbal and written.
- Ability to relate to and collaborate effectively with clients, families, agency professionals, and community organizations.
Other Requirements
- Access to a personal automobile and possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Automobile liability insurance meeting the minimum requirements as prescribed by law or ability to independently provide transportation.

Pay: $131,280.00 - $172,128.00 per year
