A cocktail server works in a bar, nightclub, or lounge, serving alcoholic beverages and food to customers.  Also help  with special events, promote the venue, and process payments.  

Responsibilities  

• Take orders :   Take orders from customers and deliver drinks and food
• Prepare drinks :   Prepare and organize drinks and glassware
• Provide customer service :   Answer customer questions and address their needs

• Process payments :   Itemize bills and process payments

• Stock and clean :   Clean and stock beverage service stations and collect dirty cups

• Assist bartenders :   Help bartenders with additional tasks

• Report intoxicated guests :   Report guests who are noticeably intoxicated to supervisors

• Promote the venue :   Promote the venue where they work
