Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Plumbing Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our commercial construction projects by providing precise cost estimates and ensuring projects remain within budget. You will be responsible for analyzing project plans, performing material take-offs, and collaborating with key stakeholders to determine project costs.
Responsibilities: - Review project plans and specifications to assess scope and requirements.
- Conduct material take-offs to determine the necessary quantity of materials.
- Utilize estimating software such as Quote Soft/Express Piping and Bluebeam to generate accurate cost estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop project budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
- Participate in bid meetings and negotiations.
- Monitor project costs during construction and make necessary adjustments.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure budget adherence.
Requirements: - Proven experience in commercial construction estimating or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Quote Soft/Express Piping .
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
