Towne Insurance is hiring an Assistant Account Manager - SBU. The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for providing professional service to new and existing clients by assisting the account manager/account executive/team leader and process their requests in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role
  • Process audits and endorsements
  • Check and attach insurance policies in Epic
  • Assemble client's insurance policies for delivery
  • Process and issue proofs of insurance (certificates, evidence of property)
  • Process endorsement requests, direct bill cancellations and reinstatements
  • Obtain loss runs, endorsements, billing, etc. from carrier websites
  • Attend office/team meetings as necessary
  • Participate in carrier website training
  • Handle other duties as assigned
  • Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Skills and experience you'll need:
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Active P&C License
  • Microsoft Products experience (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Bonus points if you have:
  • Prior personal or commercial insurance experience
  • Prior Experience working with insurance software, preferably Applied Systems
