Job Title: Shipping Coordinator
Location: Hartville, Ohio
Pay Rate: $18-$24 per hour
Shift: 1st
Job Description:
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Shipping Department, ensuring efficient and timely shipping and receiving of materials. This role involves working closely with project managers to meet deadlines and improve overall efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, including employee supervision.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to meet job timelines and prioritize urgent shipments.
• Track all outbound shipments and inbound material deliveries.
• Schedule truck pick-ups for outgoing shipments.
• Maintain communication and respond to departmental emails in a timely manner.
• Update and maintain weekly shipping totals and post load status on whiteboards.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all parts are counted, weighed, and properly labeled.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in shipping/receiving or inventory control.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel for data tracking and reporting.
  • Strong typing and data entry skills.
  • General computer literacy.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and occasional high-noise environments (ear protection required).
