Clinic and ASC locations are concentrated in Central Texas, along the Gulf Coast, Houston, and North Dallas.

The Position
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will lead in developing business intelligence solutions that collect, analyze, and present information to the business, and subsequently develop the solution to address the healthcare business requirements. The Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will work closely with the management team to achieve optimal deployment and utilization of organizational resources to achieve desired growth and operational outcomes, while building and maintaining the organization’s reputation as a medical provider and employer of choice in the markets served. Supporting areas including clinical services, operations, finance/accounting, revenue cycle, and other departments within the organizations.
Key functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leads a professional team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of timely, accurate, comprehensive reports, and dashboards
Provides guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
Responsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions using Tableau and other systems utilized by the company
Operational and Business Objectives: Collaborates with Executive Management, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Sales, and Operations teams to define and understand operational and business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals
Business Requirements and Metrics: Gathers and documents business requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to establish benchmarks and evaluate success criteria
Financial Planning: Collaborates with Business Unit heads to build annual budgets and forecasts
Business Case Development: Prepares business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes performance data from business, operations, and software systems to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Converts business performance objectives and requirements into clear and actionable reports and presentations.
Interactive Reporting and Dashboards: Builds and tests interactive operational reports, analytics, and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Excel, or other suitable software, providing stakeholders with real-time access to relevant data
Organization and Standardization of Data: Develops requirements and leads implementation of data warehouse solution to assist with providing meaningful insight
Query Development: Executes queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from databases, Excel spreadsheets, and other relevant sources to support reporting and data analysis requirements
Performance Improvement: Collaborates with Operational teams to drive performance improvement initiatives based on analytical insights and best practices, identifying areas for optimization, efficiency, and process enhancements
Collaboration and Project Management: Works in a highly collaborative manner, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of analytical solutions. Leverages project management skills to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.

The Successful Candidate
The Healthcare Analytics and Business Intelligence Manager will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead this critical function in a high accountability environment, through periods of turnaround and significant growth. These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following:
7+ years of progressive experience in reporting, using business intelligence and analytics software, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
3+ years of experience as a functional manager, managing a team of 2+ individuals
Proficiency in data analysis, analytics, and reporting, with a track record of delivering insights and actionable recommendations
Experience in report and dashboard development, data modeling, and data visualization
Proficiency in working with SQL databases, including data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Experience leading the design and development of system integration, using APIs, FTP, and other integration software
Strong analytical skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Customer service orientation
Dedication to quality patient care
Proficiency with MS Office and common web applications
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills; able to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Advanced computer software skills, including Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with ModMed, HST, ADP Workforce Now, Sage Intacct preferred.
