The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage at ECHN rehab sites, utilizing prescribed techniques to optimize patient recovery and well-being. This role requires a graduate from an accredited massage therapy program and eligibility for licensure in Connecticut, along with a year of progressive experience. Responsibilities include performing various massage techniques, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in marketing efforts.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
· Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.
· Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.
