DUTIES:The Medical Scribe Ophthalmology will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Accompany the physician into the exam roomDocument the history of the patient's present illnessDocument the Review-of-Systems (ROS) and physical examinationEnter vital signs and keep track of lab valuesLook up pertinent past medical recordsKeep track of and enter the results of imaging studiesPrioritize the physician's time by bringing critical lab results to his/her attentionType progress notesEnter the patient's discharge plan and any prescriptions
