General Description of the Position
Delaware State University is seeking qualified candidates for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor to teach Business Analytics courses. We are seeking outstanding applicants with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to contribute to our department starting Fall 2025. Fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the College of Business (COB) offers undergraduate programs in Management (with concentrations in Business Analytics, Human Resource Management, MIS/ERP, Marketing, and General Management), Accounting, Finance, Aviation Management, Professional Pilot, Sports Management, and Hospitality & Tourism Management. The College also offers an MBA degree with several concentrations.

Qualification Standards
Qualification Standards

1. Candidates must have a doctoral degree or, at least, must be an ABD in Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related fields.
2. Candidates must demonstrate teaching and research interests in Business Analytics.
3. Qualified candidates with ABD status must demonstrate potential for an active research agenda and potential for innovative and effective teaching.
4. Strong candidates would have prior teaching experience in a business school environment, especially in Business Analytics or related area.
5. Strong candidates would possess a Business Analytics or Mathematics doctorate, or an ABD from an AACSB accredited institution.
6. All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
