Position: GCP Big Query ETL Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA - ONSITE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Big Query Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, as well as proficiency in building ELT pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery. The candidate should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. This role involves working with both on-premise Microsoft systems and cloud-based data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
- Build and manage ELT pipelines in GCP BigQuery to support data integration and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
- Optimize and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and technical skills.
Basic Requirements: - 3+ years proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
- 3+ years experience in building ELT pipelines in GCP BigQuery.
- 3+ years of strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BI development and data engineering.
Technical Skills: - Mid Level GCP Developer
- GCP Big Query (Functions, Procedures, ETL) (Min: 1-2yrs) -- (80% of effort to be spent)
- Power BI UI and DAX (20% effort to be spent)
- Python (functions and procedures)
- Cloud Scheduler (GCP)
Job Duties:
- Performs detailed design of complex applications and complex architecture components.
- May lead a small group of developers in configuring, programming, and testing.
- Fixes medium to complex defects and resolves performance problems.
- Accountable for service commitments at the individual request level for in-scope applications.
- Monitors, tracks, and participates in ticket resolution for assigned tickets.
- Manages code reviews and mentors other developers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud scheduling tools such as GCP Cloud Scheduler.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
