Position: GCP Big Query ETL Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA - ONSITE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Big Query Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI, as well as proficiency in building ELT pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery. The candidate should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. This role involves working with both on-premise Microsoft systems and cloud-based data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain complex BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
2. Build and manage ELT pipelines in GCP BigQuery to support data integration and analytics.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
4. Optimize and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.
5. Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and technical skills.

1. 3+ years proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
2. 3+ years experience in building ELT pipelines in GCP BigQuery.
3. 3+ years of strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5. 5+ years of experience in BI development and data engineering.

1. Mid Level GCP Developer
2. GCP Big Query (Functions, Procedures, ETL) (Min: 1-2yrs) -- (80% of effort to be spent)
3. Power BI UI and DAX (20% effort to be spent)
4. Python (functions and procedures)
5. Cloud Scheduler (GCP)

Job Duties:

1. Performs detailed design of complex applications and complex architecture components.
2. May lead a small group of developers in configuring, programming, and testing.
3. Fixes medium to complex defects and resolves performance problems.
4. Accountable for service commitments at the individual request level for in-scope applications.
5. Monitors, tracks, and participates in ticket resolution for assigned tickets.
6. Manages code reviews and mentors other developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with other BI tools and technologies.
2. Knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation.
3. Familiarity with cloud scheduling tools such as GCP Cloud Scheduler.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
