Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions .
• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and views.
• Ensure database integrity, security, and availability.
• Work closely with developers and analysts to design and implement data solutions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Develop stored procedures for efficient database operations and business logic implementation.
• Create, modify, and debug complex stored procedures to handle data processing efficiently.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams for database maintenance and backups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in SQL programming, stored procedures, and database design .
• Proficiency in RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle .
• Extensive experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers .
• Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning .
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with database security and access control .
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
• Certification in SQL Server, Oracle, or related database technologies .
