Job Description
Turn learning into a positive daily experience!

As a Coveo Instructional Designer, you'll collaborate in a dynamic SaaS environment with a team of passionate tech enthusiasts to create engaging and effective training materials. Your role is pivotal in developing pedagogically sound content that empowers employees, customers, and partners to fully leverage Coveo solutions. With a rigorous and innovative mindset, you'll simplify complex concepts and adapt seamlessly to evolving priorities. As part of our Global Enablement team, you'll contribute to scalable, learner-centric content that drives success for our customers, partners, and employees, supporting company growth across technical and commercial enablement.
As an Instructional Designer, you will:
  • Master Coveo's suite of AI products - our key technology & concepts.
  • Adhere to and participate in prioritization of content focus based on audience needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product SMEs to develop engaging, customer-facing learning materials, primarily focused on technical enablement.
  • Engage with other enablement team members and Coveo teams, and partners to understand the customer audience, their priorities, and the effectiveness of current enablement strategies.
  • Conduct needs analysis, recommend learning strategies and activities, and develop materials in multiple formats for courses and programs.
  • Analyze learning material consumption, engagement and feedback data to help prioritize ongoing enhancements.
  • Create, and support stakeholders in creating courses in our LMS.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT/IS, software design, a technology-related field, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in instructional design, particularly focusing on creating materials for customer-facing and technical teams, including instructor-led and facilitator-led training. Your experience should demonstrate an understanding of how technical content is best consumed. OR at least five years of experience mastering technologically complex concepts in a SaaS environment, explaining and presenting these in technical and layman's terms to various audiences.
  • Experience in the technology sector, preferably with SaaS/PaaS or software.
  • Strong communication and presentation-building skills, the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and intuitively, and a passion for sharing ideas collaboratively.
What would make you stand out:
  • A deep understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to use Bloom's Taxonomy to create learning objectives and assessments.
  • Proficient with typical learning technologies and tools for audio/video recording and editing (Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition, Camtasia), visual editing (Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), animation (Adobe After Effects), course creation (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise and Storyline, PowerPoint), and content management using an LMS.
  • Experience managing projects from planning to deployment using Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Asana.
