SVP, HEAD OF SOCIALAs the SVP, Social.Monks for North America you would be responsible for leading and supporting our growth team through the sales process while serving as a bridge between them and the Social Media category teams.
You will be involved in the Media Monks existing category team in North America, working closely with the growth team to provide guidance and support on new as well as existing accounts footprint and growth opportunities, leveraging the Social Media category's offering and its connection to the bigger unitary structure.
Your core focus will be leading and supervising thought leadership and best practices in Social Media projects and digital content across multiple accounts, including new business opportunities. In addition to providing agency thought leadership, and team training, education & mentorship, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse and fast-paced set of the projects from beginning to end, including hands-on project management, ad hoc social media consultation, building of strategic recommendations, and monitoring & optimization of executed plans.
EXPERIENCE - +10-15 years in a similar role such as strategic development, content creation and management.
- Must be experienced and comfortable in managing customer relationships at the executive level. Having a proven and balanced track record of business growth, category development and specialized knowledge in social media (including but not limited to social media strategy, analysis of data-insights and digital metrics, social first creativity, platform roles and emerging trends)
- Creative and strategic input in digital projects for designated accounts.
- Work closely with the Social Media category leads, developing individual and collective value propositions to be leveraged by the growth team for B2C and B2B opportunities as needed.
- Provide customers with the inspiration and information needed to choose MediaMonks as the trusted partner for their next project or total business transformation.
- Assist Growth Monks to develop new business opportunities with smart outbound strategies to the strategic targets, and by planning, aligning and with consistent collaboration with the Social Media category team and additional internal counterparts.
- Shape concrete solution opportunities following up on potential leads to ensure they're well-communicated internally and set up for success when handed over from the growth team to the category team.
- Curious and attentive to popular culture to learn about trends.
COMPENSATION The anticipated salary range for this position is $275,000 - $300,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
