The Swift Group is looking for a
System Engineer that will be a crucial member of an agile delivery team, focusing on delivering modern, intuitive web-based applications for our customer. This role will involve staying informed about the latest technical trends in IT, understanding ongoing IT projects, and aligning with business unit requirements. The candidate will apply various project management models (e.g., Spiral, Waterfall, Agile) to ensure effective project execution. Responsibilities will include providing analysis, design, development, deployment and life cycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in end-to-end cost analysis for projects, ensuring system compliance with enterprise technical architecture, and working closely with Business Analysts and high performing development teams to create user-centered designs based on standardized principles.
This position is in Herndon, VA.Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in UI/UX design, web design, or SharePoint design.
- Proficiency in user-driven design thinking and usability.
- Familiarity with agile application development frameworks.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS-based UI frameworks.
- Ability to consult with business analysts and software engineering teams to create UI designs based on user experience principles.
- H.S Diploma
- US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Team-focused, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of customer system processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, MS Office Suite, AWS cloud services, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience with Axure RP or Adobe XD preferred.
