RELIABILITY ENGINEER The Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity within our mill for a
Maintenance Reliability Engineer. This opportunity would be ideal for candidates looking to deepen their knowledge of preventative and predictive based maintenance management.
Candidates looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the areas of daily management, initiative management, driving improvement and business understanding would have the opportunity to grow in this position. In addition to formal training, development and responsibilities in functional and technical skills. Reliability Department team members also get exposure to development in six sigma methodology including green belt projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for major maintenance programs and project management, spanning budgeting through execution. You will develop and manage process and equipment reliability programs including:
- Root cause failure analysis.
- Managing the results of condition monitoring functions.
- Life cycle asset management of process equipment.
- Providing technical support to area operations and maintenance.
- Work with area operations and maintenance to troubleshoot process and equipment issues to increase reliability.

We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tonnes of Product and employ over 1000 employees.
You Have: - Education Required: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or 2-year post- secondary education in mechanical discipline would be considered depending on experience.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial experience (process/manufacturing industry preferred).
- Experience in a reliability or plant maintenance area would be considered an asset.
- Maintenance Management Professional, Reliability Certification, or work towards such a designation would be considered an asset.
- A strong sense of urgency and curiosity.
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Desire to grow and develop your leadership and technical skills.
