Job Title: Director of Marketing

Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
The Director of Marketing will lead in the development of go-to-market strategies and execution plans for the four-season attractions at Camelback Resort including; Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, Ski/Board Mountain, Snowtubing, Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark and Camelback Mountain Adventures to achieve aggressive revenue and business goals. This leader possesses a strong understanding of consumer mindset in the ski, hospitality and amusement/waterpark industry and has experience building holistic go-to-market plans. It requires a data-driven marketing mindset and innovative thinking.
Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate with agency partners to develop market intelligence, customer behavior/purchasing behavior
- Research and raise awareness of competitive landscape
- Collaborate with product management, internal marketing "agency" and external partners to develop product positioning, value proposition and messaging with buyer personas.
- Create optimal guest/client journey. Drives changes to enhance our marketing (& sales) processes
- Create marketing plans for assigned products, including key initiatives and budget to support retention of existing customers, drive incremental behavior and acquisition of new customers.
Next Level Duties:- Assess the performance of marketing programs that support assigned products.
- New product development as opportunities arise
- Complying with all Company safety standards.
- Adhering to the Customer Service Standards of Camelback Resort as well as all Company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Communicating effectively with all members of the Camelback Resort team.
- Participating in the business planning process for the department and the Resort.
- Actively supporting all Company initiatives.
Must have Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Relevant experience in marketing required.
- Demonstrated experience managing revenue and expense financials and budgeting/forecasting
- Strong organizational, leadership and project management skills are required. Must be able to lead a large team, think strategically, and handle multiple projects.
- Prior management experience required leading large teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the achievement of business goals through aligning people, process, structure, information and communication systems in a rapidly growing/dynamic market(s).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required.
