Position Title: Engineering Manager

Motus Integrated Technologies seeks an experienced, dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our Process Engineering team at our Spartanburg facility. Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a high-performance team of process engineers.
• Provide guidance to meet project deadlines, quality standards and successful project completion.
• Assign projects, provide guidance, and ensure successful project completion.

Process Improvement:

• Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Product Development to meet KPIs. Support Quality Control activities, corrective action reviews, and root cause analysis.
• Drive initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction and increased efficiency.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions

Automotive Expertise:

• Utilize extensive automotive experience to meet OEM demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering processes with industry standards.

Program Launches:

• Project Management: Track and report project statistics, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
• Play a key role in launching new programs, ensuring seamless integration and timely delivery.

Process Engineering:

• Use deep process engineering knowledge to analyze and improve existing processes.
• Collaborate with product engineering for new process development.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs.
• Align engineering strategies with partners for successful collaboration.

Minimum Required Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' engineering experience.
• 5+ years managing technical teams.
• 3+ years in automotive engineering.
• Competent in business financial reports and data analysis tools.
• Substantial process engineering background.
• Experience in program launches within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of OEM demands.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Lean or Six Sigma certified.
• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
