Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. You'll be the face of our company, interacting with patients and providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities: - Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain procedures, and create a welcoming and trusting atmosphere.
- Phlebotomy: Draw quality blood samples from patients, following established practices and procedures.
- Specimen Preparation: Prepare specimens for lab testing.
- Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focus on process excellence, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
- Operational Efficiency: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
- Technical Skills: Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently.
- Documentation: Maintain required records and documentation.
- Company Representation: Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Qualifications: - Quality Work: Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Phlebotomy Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
