Job Title : Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative
Contract Duration : 3 Months
Pay range : $20 - 22/hr
Location : Las Vegas, NV
Work Type : Onsite, Day shift 8:30 am - 5:00 PM PST
Description:
Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional with excellent phlebotomy skills? We're seeking a talented Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. You'll be the face of our company, interacting with patients and providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain procedures, and create a welcoming and trusting atmosphere.
  • Phlebotomy: Draw quality blood samples from patients, following established practices and procedures.
  • Specimen Preparation: Prepare specimens for lab testing.
  • Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focus on process excellence, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Operational Efficiency: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
  • Technical Skills: Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently.
  • Documentation: Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Company Representation: Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Qualifications:
  • Quality Work: Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Phlebotomy Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
