Deriva Energy is looking to add a HR Coordinator to our Charlotte based team to support our hiring efforts and other HR activities as we continue to grow the team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring an exceptional candidate experience through interviewing and employee experience through onboarding. You will be reporting to the Talent Associate Director and build trusted partnerships as you schedule interviews across teams and departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the and work closely with the HR team cross functionally
- Process pre-employment screening, new hires and terminations
- Schedule interviews
- Provide employee engagement support by facilitating clear communication, and assist with coordinating recruiting activities and events
- Employment Verification and other correspondence
- Assist with all employee engagement programs
- Assist with benefit enrollment
- Schedule HR events
- Contribute to improving processes for efficiencies and effectiveness
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions - This position is located in Charlotte, NC
- This is a hybrid position; employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to the designated office location.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree(s) listed above, High School/GED AND one (1) or more years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications - BS or BA in Human Resources, preferred
- General experience in Human Resources
- Excellent MS Office skills, ie: Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS Systems
- Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Have a collaborative team mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
