Take your ambitions to the next level As the business development director for project-based services in the banking and financial sector, you will report to the senior director of sales for the banking and financial sector. You will act as a leader in the development of new sales opportunities for professional services within projects and will develop service proposals.
With your sales expertise, experience in achieving project-based sales targets, and supported by your network of contacts in the banking and financial sector in Montreal, you will be responsible for deploying various strategies to generate and develop new clients and partnerships. You will also collaborate with the account directors in consulting services to explore the potential of our existing clients and partners.
Develop and implement strategies for generating new business opportunities in Alithya’s project-based services in the banking and financial sector;
Generate new sales opportunities for Alithya’s project-based services;
Coordinate the sales process across the various business solution practices and units of Alithya;
Adopt a multi-client approach to developing new opportunities by crafting value propositions for each sales opportunity;
Achieve individual business proposals/booking targets;
Prepare responses to preliminary information requests and formalize business proposal responses;
Establish strong relationships with new clients and partners in the financial sector;
Monitor market trends and growth opportunities;
Work closely with other business development directors in sales for the financial sector to ensure the company’s objectives align.

University degree in commerce, engineering, or another relevant field;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
Proven experience in sales and business development for project-based services in consulting and related technologies within the financial sector;
Experience in proposal writing, bidding, and achieving sales targets;
Excellent reputation and established network of contacts in the financial sector;
Good understanding of the challenges in the information technology sector and key players in the industry;
Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership (team player capable of working in a matrix environment);
Demonstrated abilities in influence, negotiation and analysis;
Results-oriented.
Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
