Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Strategy, (GCS) Job Summary
What is the Opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Strategy, supports the IAM Strategy function to ensure alignment of IAM strategies to Global Cyber Security goals and regulatory requirements. The role supports and drives initiatives, provides detailed guidance on planning and execution activities, and strategic engagement across technical teams, functions, and lines of business. The role will lead the technology research, planning, design, development, and implementation of diverse and complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems used to secure and manage identities. Moreover, you will work with your peers across IAM and other functions to prioritize objectives and drive initiatives to successful completion.
What will you do?
Contribute to the IAM IT strategic direction, provide technology thought-leadership and strategic solutions that enhance and support business processes in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Provide support and leadership in establishing and implementing enterprise standards, guidelines, and best practices for the development and deployment of solutions across IAM.
Drive IAM strategic initiatives and enhancements to identify business and product requirements, develop detailed plans, and lead project teams to implement solutions on budget and on schedule (e.g. new product implementation, changes to existing technology/operational processes).
Perform planning activities along with PMO to request any required planning, funding and resourcing activities.
Work with various partners in technology (e.g. architecture, engineering), lines of business, and risk functions to drive alignment of overall strategic and business objectives.
Identify and document all required activities to address any regulatory or audit requirements on an ongoing basis (preparing deliverables, and documenting process maps, etc.).
Perform and drive any IAM assessment and remediation activities, including assisting with the onboarding/implementation of controls, and ensuring findings exist where applicable. Assisting business and technology owners with what constitutes successful remediation implementation.
Perform remediation planning of any IAM related gaps, including building plans, tracking, and monitoring of remediation efforts by IAM or application owners.
Champion the creation of metrics to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of IAM strategies.
Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices.
What do you need to Succeed?
Must have:
Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at varying levels.
Excellent written skills for executive and regulatory audiences.
Extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple work streams.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
IAM understanding (IAM products, relevant technology, and industry best practices).
Ability to identify and mitigate gaps related to IT Risk or IAM maturity.
IT Risk management experience (e.g. controls, audits).
Undergraduate degree.
Nice to have:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Project Management Experience.
Direct experience with IAM products and technologies.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
